Who we are
Our Story
While some people define success by the scale of their accomplishments, this couldn't be further from the truth for Founders of Lime Therapy, Renee and Matt Kelly.
In 2008 Matt and Renee had the vision to start Lime Therapy.
Renee, a highly respected occupational therapist with local, national and international experience, was the only employee initially and worked predominantly in disability and aged care.
Matt, a farmer and qualified accountant, supported Renee to establish Lime Therapy and her dream to provide a level of care that allowed everyone the opportunity to “live their best life”.
As the demand for occupational therapy grew, it was a natural progression to expand Lime Therapy and the clinical services offered by employing Physiotherapists in 2013, Speech Pathologists in 2019, Exercise Physiologists in 2020 and Childhood Educators in 2021.
“When you know you are making a difference, and you can see there is still room to do more. You are pushed to work harder and look at new avenues to assist those who are most vulnerable and in need, so that is simply what we did.”
At Lime Therapy, we are believers that ‘where there is passion there is possibility’. The therapies offered have grown out of a recognition of needs in our community and the areas of passion, interest and experience of the therapists who have joined the Lime Therapy team.
One of the keys to Lime Therapy’s growth over the years has been the quality of the people that have joined the team.
“When you surround yourself with people who are driven to care for others, you can achieve whatever it is you believe possible”
With this team we have created The Lime Way, shared values around how we work together and connect with our clients and their community.
Our centre of excellence on 15th Street has been a natural progression, to provide the right space for our team and their clients to progress their goals.
While it is valuable to look back and reflect on the journey so far, our greatest pride comes from reflecting on how many lives we have impacted, how many people now see their own possibilities, and the future full of opportunities to better serve our community.
We have a saying at Lime Therapy ‘Make magic happen’ and we strive to do so each and every day.
